Science group Enfer is creating 120 new jobs at a new headquarters and research laboratory in Kildare.

The new jobs will double the current workforce and will be based in the M7 business park in Naas.

The company is a a world leader in food safety diagnostics, and it is best known for its work on detecting BSE in meat.

CEO Louis Ronan co-founded the company in 1990 with veterinary surgeon Michael O’Connor.
