Fernando Alonzo left Maclaren Mercedes. Somehow sorry to see a two-time world champ not able to be magnificent and to have the admiration and support of his team. My feeling is that he brought it on himself. If he wins more F1 championships, the this little blip will be forgotten. Roll on the next season and Fernando and Lewis go head to head. Hurrah.
Burma’s “government” sucks d*^%$y b*$$s. Note the double quotes.
Britney got permission to see her sons. I feel sorry for her. She seems to me to be more clueless than bad-minded. Not sure which is worse, but you can be pretty sure that a lot of mothers are looking at Britney and they know that they are no better. Fathers too!
There was a big gang bust in Celbridge. well done to the gardaĆ. There are times when we should be really proud of our GardaĆ. I remember when that lunatic drove down the long mile road on the wrong side and killed the woman from Tallaght. The Guards drove their own car across the road to block him….with Guards inside. That was a pretty outstanding thing for them to do and I’m not sure I would have the courage to do it. This week they took out seven gang members that were all armed. That is pretty hard-core and they need to be praised when they do that. It sometimes seems that we don’t want to do that and we only want to look at the McBrearty case when the bad eggs were involved.
Speaking of the MacBrearty family - they finally got some justice.
On the science front the cat genome was published. Now, presumably, we will know the gene for not giving a damn and the gene for wanting to be stroked along the back.
