Heading for Colombia in the morning for a few days. Back at the begining of next week. Speaking at a microbiology conference to mark the first meeting of the colombian society for Microbiology and the 50th anniversary of the department of microbiology at the university of Antioquia in Medellin in Colombia.

Have never been to Colombia, but I am assured it is the best coffee in the world - something to do with being grown at altitude. Medellin is about 45 minutes flight from Bogotá and about 1500 m above sea-level, so it is lower than Bogotá.

I’ll bring me camera and hopefully put up a few photees next week.
