I don’t know if it means anything, but our most recent paper in BMC Evolutionary Biology is moving up the ladder and is now the fifth most viewed paper in BMC in the last 30 days.

It is hard to know if this kind of statistic really translates into anything - like will it be highly cited in the future, or will it make an impression with people.  However, I guess, as Oscar Wilde said, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.
