Not much to report. Worked for a lot of the day. Got to the lecture theatre at 9am and started to work on a paper that has been on the long finger for a few weeks. Made some progress and had some thoughts on how to make it better.

Still haven’t gone to the beach - it is two blocks away, but I have been doing some work and I have been sleeping and eating. Mush more important. You don’t have to stay in Ireland for it to rain. After the symposium, the organisers had arranged a barbecue so we could have a chat about cience, etc. Needless to say, with all the humidity, it rained. Check out the lightning strike at 5 seconds.
