Not much to report. Worked for a lot of the day. Got to the lecture theatre at 9am and started to work on a paper that has been on the long finger for a few weeks. Made some progress and had some thoughts on how to make it better.
Worked through the practical sessions in the afternoon and then 4 students gave their presentations. Finished up at 7pm and came back to the hotel to check email/facebook/rte news/blog.
Going to dinner now and then going to have a cupla deoch for the old National Holiday. well, to be honest, I would have had a few beers anyway.
Heard some interesting talks during the day on everything from bacteria to Lampreys to cassava virus infections in Africa. Lots of diverse and interesting stuff.
Tired. Out!
