Went to The Rolling Stones gig in Slane yesterday. I travelled from Parnell Square using Dublin bus. Wasn’t sure about taking the bus and was considering driving, but ultimately, decided that it might be nicer to have a few beers and so, opted for the bus.

Tommy Makem died yesterday. Bob Dylan said Makem made him interested in folk music. The Boston Globe called him an Irish singer with soul. That’s pretty cool. This video is also kind of cool, particularly the very end. Click on it and you’ll see what I mean
